Transforming an Academic Association for the Digital Age

My Role

Consultant, Marketing & Technology

I led the end-to-end digital transformation for a global association, automating member registration and reducing manual onboarding efforts by 90%.

The Story

An Analog Organization in a Digital World

The ANR board was bogged down with manual tasks, using spreadsheets to track members from 50+ countries. Communication was disjointed, and the brand lacked the professional polish of a global academic leader.

Building a Digital "Central Nervous System"

  • Unified Digital Identity: I led the complete brand development, creating a new logo, visual identity, and messaging to establish a cohesive and professional online presence.
  • Centralized Hub: I designed and launched the association's first official website, serving as a single source of truth for information, member resources, and event registration.
  • End-to-End Automation: I designed and implemented a full marketing automation workflow. This system handled member registration, payment processing, database updates, and welcome email sequences, eliminating nearly all manual intervention.
